Mr. i and Mrs Wyman never looked better Ior happier as lhe\ welcomed their t guests. After an hour's social lt;hat !the guests were invited to the spaci- j eus dining room where the tables j lairly groaned with good things no- . tieeable in the center of which was,j a huge birthday cake made ly Mrs. j, Mark L. Perm. Tiie excellent lobster (and elarn stews were relished as their ,‘rapid diminshing testified. Music was enjoyed during the evening, Galen , Duley presiding at the organ. The | guests however succeeded in surpris- |ing them with a very nice chair and | silverware also a good number ofsmaller gifts, thus showing the high esteem in which this worthy couple are held. Mark L. Percy presentedthe gifts in behalf of the donors in t a manner as only he can do. Mr. j Wyman responded with words that made all feel glad to be there.while Mrs. Wyman looked her ex-, pression of thanks. Noticeable among | the happy faces was that of Uncle j John Hutchins, a relative and member of the Wyman family at. the advanced age of 85 years, retaining all i his faculties. After extending good wishes and many happy returns of day Uui giuisis dnpaxLed Ictdinji..it to be a gathering long to be remembered.
