Senior SpotliteOur featured resident for the month is Margaret Hartmann. She was born Margaret Theiien in Ireton, October 28, 1882.On April 7, 1903, she and Bruno Hartmann were married at Tea, So\ bh Dakota. They moved to Akron in 1920, where she has resided since. They raised ten children, two now deceased. Others are five sons, Ed, Gary, Rudy, Raymond, and Ben. Three daughters are Mickey Jespersen, Alice Eichac-ker, and Anna Wilier.Mr. Hartmann died in 1938. Mrs. Hartmann.has six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. For many years she has taken an active part in programs of Trinity Lutheran church, of which she is a member.She now enjoys visiting an dreading. She also likes an occasional game of bingo. Russell; from Akron were: Mr. and Mrs. W/n, Ludwigs, John Mammen, Mr. and Mrs, Gert Haage, Mrs. Alma Knecht, and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Moizen; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Nelson of Westfield; and from Merrill were Mrs. Roger Utesch and children, and Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Utesch.The Cheerful Neighbors Kitchen Band entertained the residents and the anniversary couple with their music. Thanks.We played bingo on Thursday, Ladies received an Easter card and the men Kleenex and combs.Guests of Alice Minor included Mrs. Ken Hoffman, Westfield, TessieMron,and Dorothy Bonhag of Sioux City,Bulletin board for March was decorated by Marge Dykstra and Joyce and Mary Thorson. Theme was the Easter bunny. Very nice.
