These are unravelled and the thread used to make other articles. In this way widows are able to support themselves. Any contributions would be much appreciated, and may be left with Mrs, R. Fox, Mrs. F. Pulfcr, or Mrs. R. Jackson.* * •Exam, time is 'here again, the students are busy studying for those all-important final exams. Wc wish them good luck with their studies.• * •Mr. and Mrs. A. Jahns will be ‘■at home” on the occasion of thctir golden wedding anniversary on Thursday, June 24th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Brown. All friends and neighbors are invited l.o visit from 2 io 5 p.m. and 7 1« 9 p.m.* * *in Los Angeles.• * *On Sunday, June 13, twenty-seven guests gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Jahns, of Winniipcg Beach, to honor them on their 59th wedding anniversary, which was an event of February 20. Charlie and Dorothy Jahns, and family, of Oak River; Wilson Jahns and family; Richard and Eleanor Brown and family; Walter and Shirley Jahns and family; Mrs. Reg. Brown; Bob and Betty Florence, of Selkirk; Mrs. J. Willson and Mrs. M. McLaren, of Winnipeg Beach, were present to enjoy such a lovely occasion. We are pleased to hear that Mr. and Mrs. A. Jahns are in very good health.* * •Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Paul and son, of Winnipeg, spent the week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. II.
