Invitations were sent to scores of friends and relatives who attended the open house from 2 to 6 p.m. Congratulations were received from more than 200 persons and many telephone calls were received during the day from those who were unable, to attend.The home was beautifully decorated with large bouquets of gladioli presented for the occasion by neighbors.A lovely hand-made lace table cover was the setting for a fourth-red wedding cake centerpiece decorated with silver and white bells and pink rose buds with silver numerals depicting the 25th anniversary surrounding the cake foi a base. The traditional bride and groom adorned the top. A friend of the family was responsible for designing and baking of this delectable conversation piece.Co-hostesses who assisted Susie and Jack were Mrs. Robert Abbs, Mrs. Nevitt Rossister and Mrs. Mable Colwell. Susie Clcwers and her cousin Judy Abbs, served the guests cake, punch and coffee.| ;ftie .guest book, a gift to the hbnoi-ees from their children, was circulated by Margaret Ann Rossi-I ter.
