Mr, and Mrs. G. W, Brady, oC Am-■ brose, celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at their home Monday, July a, with a farniiy reunion. All the children arid granehildren were present except M. W. Brady and fam*ily, of Modisto, Cai., and J. S. Brady and family, of Iola, Kan.Two tables were spread in the shade of a large walnut tree at the homestead. Sixty relatives and. friends gathered around, the festive board .and enjoyed the good thingsprepared by the women of the party. In the group of reuners were persons who had not met for nearly 30 years and many hours were spent renewing friendships of long ago. Later in the day speeches were made by Rev. Elias Rowland, S. W. Brady and others. A number of handsome presents, among which were a Morris chair and a lot of silverware, were presented to the aged couple. Mr, Srady is 78 years old and his venerable wife is 69. It is needless to say that none enjoyed the event more than they.
