Millards Have Silver Wedding Party at HomeMr. and Mrs. Chester J. Millard who were married on Dec. 31, 1921, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary at their home, 1800 19th N. W., where friends and relatives gathered from 7 to 9 o'clock, Dec. 29.The marriage of Miss Hazel Fister, daughter of the late Nels and Mary Fister, to Chester J. Millard, son of the late Albert and Maude Millard, took place Dec. 31, 1921, at Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Millard are the parents of 4 children, Warren of Manly, and .Robert. Chester, Jr., and Ardls at home. Robert is serving in the U. S. navy, stationed at Guam, and was unable to_ be with his parents oti this occasion.Among the guests was Mrs. Millard’s bridesmaid, Mrs. Coral Nel-sen, 22 13th St. N. E. Both Mrs. Millard and Mrs. Nelsen wore corsages of carnations and mums.During the evening instrumental music was furnished by Chester Millard. Jr., baritone; Henrietta Long, niece of Mr. and Mrs. Millard, piano, and Bobby Wilson, clarinet. A reading was given by Mrs. Jack Hunt, rural route 1. Russell Jon Millard, 4 year old grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Millard, and Gary Long gave recitations.The reception table was centered with a 3-tier cake and Mrs. Harold Long, sister of Mr- Millard, and Mrs. Clarence Jacobson, sister of Mrs. Millard, poured. Miss Ardis Millard was in charge of the guest book.Relatives attending the anniversary from out of the state were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jacobson of Minneapolis. Mrs. Jacobson is the former Vernice Fister. Mr. and Mrs. Jacobson celebrated their IOth wedding anniversary on Dec. 30. Mr. and Mrs. Millard received gifts and cards.—0—
