The John Briefs 50th Anniversary To Be Observed -pAnnouncement is made of the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Brief, pioneer residents of Vernon township, which will be observed December 24.John Brief and' Mary Carmichael were married in Clare, December 24, 1895, by the Rev. Aiken, and took up their residence on the Vernon town-ship farm where they have lived-for the past fifty years. Three children, Mrs, Harry L. .Rideout/ of Muskegon Heights; Ira D, Brief, of Detroit and Dr. Daniel A. Brief, of Sam Antonio, Texas, will help celebrate the occasion,Mr, and Mrs. Brief are spending the .winter with their daughter and son-iu-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harry B. Rideout, 733 Sanford Street, Muskegon Heights and messages from their many friends will reach them there.
