voraucrs and Stlelers, and la-Menard Fair Opens For Six Day RunThe Central West Texas Exposition at Menard got underway for its 6-day-run today with a queen’s coronation.On Thursday night movie star Tex Ritter and his entire Hollywood Western Musical Revue, including his movie horse, White Flash, will appear at the fair in front of the grandstand.The World's Championship $2.-140 Cowboys Rodeo will open | Friday night with the U. S. Air I Force Band an added attraction. Calf roping, wild cow milking i bull riding, bareback riding, i bronc riding and the ladies’ bar ’ re I race are the events listed. [Books for the rodeo entries close at 2 p. m. on Friday afternoon.Saturday nights feature will include fireworks and the third ! rodeo performance will be held [on Sunday afternoon with a ’Hillbilly Circus” and Fireworks on Sunday night.Miss Betty St metier, Queen of the Gillespie County Fair, will represent Fredericksburg at the Miss Central Texas’ coronation I to be held on Monday night.
