MISS VERA WILLOUGHBYGIVES BIRTHDAY PARTYThirty-five Voting People Enjoy fVitriolic Gathering lit Her Heme in I tali way Avenue.Thirty-five friends were entertained by Miss Vera Willoughby at her home/ 546 Washington street, on Saturday evening, in honor of her eighteenth birthday anniversary. The house was prettily decorated in red, white and blue and the lawns and porches were lighted with Japanese lanterns. Plans were made to serve jtiio refreshments on the lawns but tthe rain made this impossible.. The [tables were decorated in the national colors and the favors were smalt | American flags. Vocal and instru-imental music, games and dancing i featured the gathering.Among those present were soldi or boys from Camp Upton and Camp Dix.
