Dale Fahsbender. his brother, ac ccpted a teaching position at Shatter.f ^ ADale Fahsbender came to California from Pontiac, Illinois, where he attended grade school and high school. During his years in high school he was a member of the National Honor Society. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Illinois State Normal College in 1949 and a Master of Arts degree in education from the same school in 1953.He taught school for two years at Mackinaw. Illinois, and two more years at Mommence. Illinois, before coming to San Diego where he taught for one year He taught last year at Mt Whitney High School in Visalia and then last fall accepted a position at Shafter High School.In 1947. he married his wife Mary Lou. and the couple have, two boys. Fahsbender plays the piano and is interested in all types of athletics. At Shafter High School he teaches algebra and plane geometry and coaches the *‘CM football team and the freshman baseball squad.When asked to state his impression of Shafter High School, he had this to say. Shafter is my idea of a place to live and teach. Students in my classes have been very very good and
