Auction sales notice states consignors should send full particulars to CHAS GRIFFITH and Co at the Tran ctront Albury or Banger etreet Corowa. The notice urges prompt action for stock consignments and outlines market timing.
Wodonga yards hold an auction on Friday 28th June at 11 o clock sharp. CHAS L. Griffith & Co. offer 600 cattle including 120 steers 120 middle 120 cows and heifers plus 100 bullocks, working bullocks and several calves from various owners. Prices and terms to be announced.
A fragmented Victorian auction notice shows multiple sales on a Wednesday with prime fat bullocks cows and wethers listed by various sellers including Mr J Daltinger Mr A Maclean and Mr George Coleman. The sale includes 25 prime fat bullocks 10 prime fat bullocks and cows plus horses waggons and farm implements with timings around 10 30 am and 10 50 am at the Albury Municipal Yards and local properties.
Chenery Bros announce a public sale at Mr Jas Thwaite’s Yards Tallangatta on Monday in July at 12 30 pm. Numerous consignments include 150 store bullocks aged 4 5 years from John O’Neill Chiltern 180 mixed young cattle from John Stewart Faithfulls Creek 100 store bullocks 3 years from F Stanley Mitta Mitta 70 store bullocks 4 years from J Tewaert and more cattle including 40 mixed young cattle up to 30 store bullocks 4 years and 10 Milkers with calves from A Cardwell Mitta Mitta and other assorted stock from Tallangatta and nearby properties.
