Auction schedule notes sales on Tuesday and Wednesday with Griffith and Co in conjunction with Adamson and Strettla. Catalog highlights include fillies and fat stock with fat stock listed and prices to be announced.
The Albury fortnightly market lists cattle and sheep offerings from multiple growers. Prime fat bullocks and wethers are noted from Bonegilla Howlong Billabong Bongoweonah Park Cary Gerald Walbundrie Moorwatha and other properties, with mixed Merino and hogget lots from South Goonambil and King.
At Wodonga on Friday August 15 cattle dealer ITH and Co. announce 300 magnificent store bullocks for sale. They have never travelled and come from a dry season overstock. Bullocks are well bred aborthoros and will fatten to large weights for sale due to owner’s overstock.
Auction at Albury Municipal Yards on Tuesday August 19 at 10 am offers 80 draught horses aged between five and eight years. After the sale the bidding continues at Wodonga the same day and next day. Also listed are rentals, a residence with land, and upcoming show sales in Albury on September 12.
MHAS L Griffith and O will sell by auction at the Albury Auction on Saturday at 11 oclock sharp. Goods include Waters Tea and Coffee Ladies Refreshment Booths, right to sell fruit confectionery and rated waters. One-third cash balance by promissory note due 9 September.
Albury Market on Thursday August 21 offers 60 head of fat cattle from various properties including Bethaoga park and Wallandool Estate. The sale features 200 prime Merino and crossbred wethers, 100 Merino and crossbred wethers, 40 prime lambs from Woomargame Estate, an additional 40 lambs from Wm Doubleday, 800 crossbred and Merino ewes, and more items from multiple vendors such as Mr Jno Drummond and Mr FP Fealy Orangeline.
