Albany pressed early as Perth City United dominated defence with Hull Warden and Wilderspin stopping most threats. Randell opened for Perth City, Symasius replied for Albany, and Rutherford added a late Perth goal securing a 3 2 victory.
The gary watch clash saw Perth City United's first team face Albany Association selections before a good crowd. Albany dominated with key moves from Symmons Lamb Nott Porter Welchman and Walker, while Perth relied on Napier Esler and Bracknell efforts. Albany led 2 0 at half time and pulled clear after the break to finish 9 1, with standout shows from Sharples Watt Warden Howieson Ester.
Visiting Perth City United footballers were entertained by Albany oval soccerites at Royal George Howl with about 45 attendees. Mr. Gould chaired. he praised the visitors and noted a friendly rivalry, while thanking all for a welcoming stay and describing the annual visit as a sign of improving ties.

The Empire Theatre and Town Hall present a Paramount programme featuring Just Around the Corner a family melodrama about a mother's devotion and a wayward daughter. Harold Lloyd stars in the three reel comedy Minor Weakness with further supporting acts and a strong cast led by Margaret Seddon.
The Empire Theatre announces Way Down East featuring David W. Griffith with lavish effects and color themes. The Monday program includes special orchestral music prologue vocal accompaniment and lighting effects. Ten reels present countryside to city splendor ending with the New England blizzard and Connecticut River ice gorge.

The Albany Fire Brigade will hold its ordinary drill at the Fire Station tonight and all members are asked to attend.
