What Bill Wanted A Letter From a Customer
A country storekeeper finds a long misspelled customer letter listing foods and household items desired for Christmas. The earnest shopper requests flour sugar coffee spices baking powder cheese barbed wire and tea among many items, notes a fire and injured animals, and wishes a merry Christmas and happy new year. The message blends humor with practical wants and dated spelling.
