During Christmas and New Year the local post office opens for all classes except money orders. Closed Christmas Day. Open Friday December 26 and Saturday December 27, and New Year’s Day from 10 am. Mails for despatch by train on December 26 and January 1 will be accepted at 10 am. Specific rivers and Takonarup despatched on December 24. No deliveries on Christmas. morning deliveries only on other holidays. Pillar receivers cleared at 9 am only on holidays.
Main line trains arrive at Albany from Perth on Tuesday 1625 am and Wednesday 10.25 am. Trains leave Albany for Perth on Monday 6.45 pm and Tuesday 9.45 pm. Denmark line services Albany to Denmark depart Monday and Friday at 7 am. return journeys Albany from Denmark depart 1.16 pm on those days.
