North Adelaide Institute Formed at Public Meeting
A public meeting of Inhabitants of North Adelaide held at Christ Church on August 26 1851 adopted rules for the North Adelaide Institute to promote science arts and study. The society to have subscriptions with varied rates a ten shilling annual fee and officers to be elected in October. The issue also notes galvanized tin iron roofing material claims and local tradesmen promoting related products and supplies.
