Notice to farmers advising that the stallion Improver Milton will stand at the undersigned farm Meadows. Milton, imported from Van Diemen's Land, with lineage through Gli Lincoln Ajax and Old Duncan Gray. He won first class prize at the Midland Agricultural Show Campbell Town 1845 and Judges Certificate as best cart stallion 1846, plus prize at Mone Barker Show March 1850. Terms two guineas and a half per mare plus foal payable January 1851.

Egremont, bred Just Trypouted from Van Diemens Land, ridden by Old Little John, by Wanderer, out of Miss Grizsle, defeats seven rivals in the Lanmeeston St Ledger. Earlier in the year he won the Government Pleat Oatlands beating Coro not Amelia and another. Terms unchanged from Milton. Meadows July 1 1850. Mares paddocked fourteen days free of expense then two shillings weekly.
