Mr Coppin will sponsor a £50 Guinea annual Cup for Cantab stock in South Australia, with mares accommodated at Royal Exchange stables in Adelaide or Mr William Malcolm’s, Wynond. Sampson the Superior Wagon Stallion Stands at Hindmarsh

Shape, bone and strength mark Sampson a dark bay wagon stallion by Linovit out of a Clydesdale dam. He stands this season at Hindmarch Bridge Hotel on Saturdays at the Black Bull, Adelaide, and Tuesdays at Cross Keys New Law Dry Crock. Sampson won Campbell Town’s best three year old stallion prize in 1844 and was sold for 340 guineas. He is quiet and highly regarded as a trainer, with stud fee £22 per mare. Payments due by August 27, 1850.

Notice from 1850 announces the renowned horse Improver will cover mares this season at Norman's Willaston Hotel adjoining Gawler Town and at several locations fortnightly including Lyndach Valley Tanunda Kapunda Oak Lodge Little Para Moullays and Mr B Greig's Stables Adelaide The horse is dark brown six years old sixteen hands one inch and proven as a foal getter Breeders are invited to sign the book on arrival and refer stock to Mr Greig for any questions All details dated July 22 1850.
