Extract of a letter from or Benjamin Mackie a respectable Quaker dated Creagh near Long Hall Ireland dated september 14 the 1848. To professor Holloway x respected Friend thy excellent pills have effectually cured me of an asthma which afflicted me for three years to such an extent that i was obliged to walk my room at night for air afraid of being suffocated if i went to bed by cough and phlegm. Besides taking the pills i rubbed plenty of thy ointment into my Chest night and morning. Signed Benjamin Mackie cure of to Prius fever when supposed to by at the Point of death. A respectable female in the neighbourhood of Long Hall was attacked with typhus fever and Lay for five Days without having tasted any description of food. She was Given Over by the sur Geon and preparations were made for her demise. Or Benjamin Mackie the Quaker whose Case is referred to above heard of the circumstances and knowing the immense Benefit that he himself had derived from Holloway s pills recommended an immediate trial and eight wer Given to her and the same number was continued night and morning for three Days and in a very Short time she was completely cured. advice just received it appears that colonel dear who is with his regiment in India the 21st Fusiliers cured himself of a very bad attack of fever by these celebrated pills. There is no doubt that any fever however malignant May be cured by taking night and morning copious doses of this Fine Medicine. The patient should be induced to drink plentifully of warm linseed Tea or Barley water. Cure of dropsy in the Chest. Extract of a letter front j. S. Mung Esq. Dated Kennington near Oxford december 2nd, 1848. To professor Iloilo was sir my Shepherd for some time was offi Ictor with water on the Chest when i heard of it i immediately advised him to try your pills which he did and was perfectly cured and is now As Well As Ever to was in his life.
