Land Tax Meeting at Willunga District 1851 Resolutions

At a March 1851 public meeting held at Aldings Hotel Maclaren Vale Mr Lovelock chaired. Resolutions condemned the District Road Commissioners for enforcing the old land tax rate and pledged to resist it. A plea to the Local Court to deny the debt was proposed with books to be produced.
