Milton elects trustees in two wards in sharp race
In Milton voters chose two Public School Trustees for East Ward and one for South Ward to fill resignations. Winners were R. J. Burnfield, J. Cantelon and Mrs. Gowland in the East Ward and E. Middleton and W. McCready in the South Ward. The three elected had been appointed previously and were unseated by Judge Munro.

Sudden Deaths Of Actonians Claim Two Local Notables
The community mourns the deaths of Dr H A Coxe and Mr Henry Goldham. Coxe, treated for appendicitis at Guelph General Hospital after a Sunday illness, died Monday afternoon. Goldham, a longtime Acton resident active with St Alban’s Church, died at home on Bower Avenue. Coxe’s funeral is set for Saturday at Knox Church. Goldham’s for Friday at St Alban’s Church.
