Harvester Caught In Corn Cutter Tragedy at Acton Farm
Harold Ferguson a Nassagaweya custom harvester was killed instantly during harvest at Wilkud Britton’s Acton farm. He became trapped in a corn cutting machine while alone, dragged into the cutter, and found by Jim Morrison who shut down the tractor. Coroner Dr. George Syer and OPP assisted. Ferguson survived by his parents Lind Ferguson and the late Mrs Ferguson and several siblings.

Mil ton County Building to Open November 17
Halton's new 1.225 million Court House Registry Office and Administration Building at Milton will be officially opened on Saturday November 17. Tuesday county councillors fixed the date. After opening the building will be open for public inspection on Sunday with school tours planned for the following Monday. Councillors hope staff will use the building for at least a week before opening.
