The lesson centers on Paul urging unity in the Corinthian church amid factionalism led by Apollos Cephas and others. A mother writes to Weason on his birthday, praising his transition from boyhood to manhood. She expresses pride in his clean record, hopes for a pure and noble future, and grants him freedom while affirming she will always see him as her boy. End with endless love and best wishes from a loving mother.
A humorous street scene unfolds as a Pal-horted dray driver asks which box contains an orphan. Bystanders split between mistaken identifications and the driver’s plea, while an imam laments the mix-up and a passerby balks at guessing without attending the funeral.
A fragment describes a game using copper pieces or elydes on cardboard with red crayon markers. Players place a saucer on a Moor and drop plums toward it from a distance to see who lands the most before the saucer tips. A color variation adds colored tokens and turns to determine a winner.
