Erin Council Meeting Minutes Report Donations and Bills
The Erin Township Municipal Council met at Hillsburg on Monday October 7th 1940. The meeting authorized payroll rates paying township employees 25 cents per hour and 40 cents per hour for men and teams. One hundred dollars was donated to the Erin Agricultural Society and ten dollars to the Wellington County Plowmen's Association. Collector bonds were renewed with Canadian Surety Co and insurance premiums listed as five thousand robbery coverage two thousand in other premiums thirty seven dollars and fifty cents and twelve dollars fifty cents respectively.
