Scott Act Trials Pause in Milton Courthouse
Thomas Sanderson of Milton was summoned for selling whiskey and beer, pleaded guilty, and paid a fine plus costs. David Dewar faced a fourth offence and left for parts unknown after admitting the charge. Mrs. Frank Sanderson was charged again, with adjournments set for Oakville. John Lindsay of Georgetown, convicted recently of Scott Act violations and jailed for two months, was brought to Milton.
