Death of Two Year Old After Nail Ingestion
The two year old son of Mr and Mrs William Bradshaw died after swallowing a nail while playing with nails. An X ray in Guelph located the nail near the throat. A Toronto hospital performed the operation but infection developed, and Bobby died. He was an only child. Funeral service will be at St Josephs Acton with interment at Dublin Cemetery.

Rockwood Horticultural Society held last Saturday drew a large crowd with 462 entries in various classes. A fine display of gladiolus arranged by Mr Wim Harris impressed visitors while addresses were delivered by President J E Kellington Mr H Occamore and Mrs W Simpson of Guelph. Prize winners included Mrs F S Hamilton T G Hutchinson Mrs Geo Oakes for apples and A M Witt for green pod beans among others.
