Bear chase ends with photo proof as village flares
In Woodburg the local tale centers on Martin Custer, famed for wildlife photographs, and Jasper Huffcut who bets he can shoot a bear. Martin reveals he captured a dramatic trail scene on film, showing Jasper fleeing a black bear just behind him, ending the suspense with a nonlethal close call and a shared village joke.
