Nassaguweya council rejects renovation of burnt school
Nassaguweya council last week refused TL Jacquemont’s plan to renovate a burnt out school on Fifth Line due to its proximity to the road as road widening would bring the building within two feet of the road allowance. Reeve William Coulter called the situation unsafe for a home. Jacquemart said he would reuse walls to build a house valued at 26000 and sell it, with a carpenter financing the project.
