Leila Dyke of Toronto plans to organize Acton Dramatic Club with Miss Dyke presenting a program at eight o clock. Minn Dyke will be joined by pupil Margaret McGregor and the Acton Orchestra. A silver collection at the door will defray expenses and private expression lessons may follow.

In Memoriam Mrs James Armstrong Elizabeth Ann Armanning died Friday October 17 after a long illness. She was 62 and born near Hiplay and moved to Turonto from Hyampton four years ago. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and is survived by her husband two daughters two brothers and two sisters. Interment was at Harrie Unlo Cemetery. Municipal officer Reid reports new building permits issued over five months in Acton. The list shows homes and repairs with costs ranging from a few hundred to several thousand dollars, including garages, verandahs, shingles, and roofing.
