Acton Soldiers Return Home From War
Cpl Stanley Joe, after three and a half years in the Canadian Army, arrived in Acton on October 3 aboard the Te de France. He served in Sicily, Italy, France, Belgium and Holland and is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe of Acton, now living in Milton. Also home is Percy Nichelle visiting his mother and sister, Mrs Bean, in Church Street.
