Acton Town Discusses Waterworks Plan At Public Meeting
A Monday Town Hall meeting of property owners backed a waterworks proposal after engineers from James, Louden and Wertzberg Co. presented a cost analysis. They suggested a deep well near Brock Street and a Cobble Hill elevated reservoir with a $72,000 to $85,000 estimated system price, to be funded by debentures and a local improvement assessment.
