Acton Area Notes Spur Community News Mix
Town businessmen probe bringing Nova Scotia apples to market while local prices and events attract residents. Fires at Fergus destroy flour and oatmeal loads injuring several workers, and a rash of car and motorist behavior prompts local criticism of unsafe practices. A turnip deal, shipping updates, and a tea room conversion promise activity, plus fall fair concerts, church memorials, and farming notes fill the town page with active civic life.
