The readable text appears to describe a 1920 act on water works and public notices, mentioning a press member, building, location MAU Newwety, and references to a telephoned format. It is heavily garbled with incomplete words and stray phrases, offering little clear event detail.
The piece laments whiskey finds and delays in enforcing temperance laws after provincial votes. It highlights police seizures like a cache in a Thorold pig pen and criticizes the federal stance on liquor enforcement. It also questions publishing convictions while defendants oppose naming, and raises concerns about dancing lessons taught in Ayton public schools amid parental objections.
Canada builds a large steel merchant fleet under a plan for sixty three vessels, thirty eight of which are already in service. Each ship bears the Canadian name, reinforcing national trade aims by keeping freight earnings within Canada and boosting maritime growth and prosperity.
Canada reports its postwar debt stands at about 2.127 billion dollars with maturities from August 1, 1921, to December 1, 1937. Analysts estimate annual interest around one hundred million and principal repayments near one hundred twenty five million, with full payoff by 1937. If achieved, rapid future development could follow.

From the northland comes a yearly tally of hunting tragedies as inexperienced and careless shooters, even seasoned hunters, misjudge moving game and fire fatal shots. Each incident adds shame and regret to the hunter who believed they were vigilant.
A Michigan survey on prohibition in Grand Rapids argues it has improved life and homes. It notes the city, population 137,634, long defied by saloons and now claims reduced drunkenness and high home ownership after 1918.
A new volume by E B Biggar of Toronto chronicles the history of water power administration under Ontario’s Hydro Electric Power Commission. The article discusses a tale about a preacher wife and a detached collar, tracing origins to pre Civil War times and contrasting old fashion restraints with modern factory collars. It mentions Mrs Roberta Luile Hlevenson and notes changes in textile production and female roles over time.
Tenpla crafters roast coffee beans either pre ground or in berry form, but the Arata guests prefer a unique method.
