Arrears Tax Collections Rise in Eramosa Township Meeting
The Eramosa Township Council met November 13 at Rockwood Town Hall with Reeve D D Gray presiding. A departmental notice announced possible two year postponement of municipal elections and urged adoption of a uniform accounting system. The Maple Grove Literary Society held its second program Friday evening with Doris Watson in charge. Margaret Ingle presided Group I, songs were sung in chorus, a reading by Ingle, a quizz “gents vs ladies,” solos by Mrs. George Granam, and a skit “While You Wait” by McNabb Hurd and Wingate. The National Anthem closed the meeting followed by social dancing.
