Acton Public School board met in the pancil chamber on Tuesday evening approving the seventh committee report and salaries for new female teachers for the second third and fourth departments at 250 and 225 dollars. Resignations of Miss Baxter of the third department and Miss Forfar of the fourth department were read and accepted. Wood bids were opened with James Browny at 3 50 per cord and Sayers at 3 50 for wagon delivery and 8 25 by sleigh.
