To Honor War Dead Nov 11 Memorial Service

On Friday evening October 70 BY PU held a social after the devotional. Mrs Garner led contests and games and Kinch served by the ladies. Guests came from Georgetown and Hillsburgh. The following Friday November 3 the group met at Mr and Mrs W Coles to celebrate Guy Fawkes day. Mr Coles related the Vil lain story and an effigy was burned with fireworks. Dismembered parts were examined in the dark amid shrieks. A cherry batten tart contest winner received a free case of indigestion. Ham burgers and tea were served, then a sing song and departure.
