Acton 37 ball team traveled to Georgetown Saturday for the league opener and dropped a 6 5 decision. Cripps and Alcott started for Georgetown with Alcott overpowering Acton hitters. Beaumont doubled for Georgetown and Alcott cleared the bases with a double. Lambert relieved Cripps in the seventh and held Acton scoreless. Georgetown pulled away with two runs in the third and two in the fifth to lead 6 4, Acton scoring once in the sixth and missing chances in the eighth and tenth to tie or win.
