Von Opel a German inventor and financier was taken off the Italian liner Conte di Savoia by armed British guards. He had been stopped at Gicriltar after contralina control and was interviewed for two hours before being transported. He had lived in Switzerland and traveled on a passport from Liechtenstein.

Drainage plan approved for Force Electric Plant
