Pioneering Hatton County resident dies at 103 in Guelph
The oldest resident of Guelph, Mr. Wallace, died Thursday at home on Glasgow Street in his 104th year. Born in Nassagaweya near Moffat, he learned cobbler trade after an early life as a farmer. Survived by two daughters and a son, he was buried Saturday at Moffat Cemetery.

Albert Smith of Erin Township died at his home on Sunday morning after a brief illness following farm work in Acton. He was 80, a lifelong resident, deacon at Churchill Church for over fifty years, and survived by his wife Almeda Cook and their son Fred.
