The Canadian Track and Field Indoor Championship Meet took place in Hamilton on a Saturday with nine Acton runners. Frank Cooper placed third in the 18 years and under yard dash. Firemen were called to 39 Frederick Street on Monday afternoon to check overheated stove pipes. A ladies meeting was in progress. the firemen had everything under control and the meeting continued. No damage or injuries were reported. Officer Newton noted no cause for concern.
