Local Advertisements and Public Notices for Acton
A crowded column shows local ads for groceries and spring goods from Secord Bros and A. O. Bachar, outfits from Craine & Son, life and accident insurance via Travelers, and public school exams. It also notes estate matters with Major W. Allan named assignee, church Bible Society activities with collectors listed, a Pythias lodge event at Matthews Hall, and a grand promenade concert planned by the Acton Social Club. The piece reports Easter holiday policy for public schools and a humorous tale of a rider whose horse trotted off after a late visit.
