First Mass in English at St Josephs with changes
Last Sunday at St Josephs Mass was celebrated in English for the first time with greater congregational participation. A visiting priest from Ignatius College led the service and the choir, now directing the congregation, sang four hymns. A new guitar was built and laymen will help in readings as the church shifts to vernacular worship.

Esquesing Township Council approved two room additions at Pineview and Limehouse schools. Each will add a general purpose room at about 90000 dollars total cost with an estimated 80000 dollars in grants. No boiler or septic extensions are needed as the schools were designed for such additions. Open House at Goy Cartage Marks New Warehouse
About 200 visitors toured the new Goy Cartage bonded warehouse west of town on Saturday. A red carpet greeted guests as trucks ferried them in and back out after lunch. Mementos were given, coffee and lunch served, and a birthday tribute to M. Goy closed the evening with a bouquet and cake.
