Rousing Ontario Temperance Convention At King Edward Hotel
The Ontario Prohibition Union held its annual convention March 2 and 3 at Toronto's King Edward Hotel. Delegates from across the province filled the Convention Hall as President R S Rodd of Windsor gave a strong address. committees were named for Nominating Resolutions Legislation Education Organization and Political Action. The gathering included devotions led by Rev D N McLaughlin and talks on temperance education by J M Denyes Inspector Halton and Ernest Thomas, highlighting youth responsibility and the need for better teachers and higher educational standards.
