Erin Township Council met in Willsburg on June 6 presided by Kerve Edgar Huxley. The Court of Revision reduced several assessments for Samuel Kannawin Lloyd Peavey and others, removed dogs from rolls, and corrected a bank error. A school area for Erin Township was discussed with a meeting planned in Coningby. taxes on certain lands refunded. The council donated 5000 to Hillsburg Band, approved auditors' report, and arranged insurances and payments before adjourning to Hillsburg on June 9.

Mrs Harold Melouse received a tine lot of German war souvenirs from her husband who is now in Blodland. In Voltee Court at Acton yesterday John Bryson of Brampton was fined and costs by Magistrate Langidean on two charges. One charge was possession of liquor more than the legal limit and the other being in a public place in an intoxicated position. The case was led by Chief Harrap.
