Acton Man Killed In Highway Crash Friday
Acton resident Neil Patterson died from injuries after a car rolled over near Milton on Friday while he was driving from his garden to Acton. The 65-year-old was found semi conscious with a smashed vehicle and died before ambulance transport to Guelph. An inquest will be held by Provincial Constable Ray Mason. Patterson, a longtime Acton businessman, built the local slaughterhouse and storage plant, later operated a market garden, and was active in developing town sports. He left a widow and his son.
