Mill Main survey eyed for stop signals at busy intersection
At a council meeting clerk-administrator Jack McGeacie said the Transport Department planned another survey at the Mill Main intersection. Council discussed off street parking, costs, and a three year debate on solutions. The town authorized collecting business tax arrears up to December 31 1965 and May 31 1966 totals around 14000 dollars. Improvements to Eastern Ave west of Young St and the railway crossing were approved for a total cost of 19730 dollars with Acton paying 2385 and signal lights to cost 900 annually.
