Two weeks remain until Acton's three big days as town beautification and preparations ramp up. Reports note new painting on storefronts, a brick building nearing completion, and the Park track fence addition. Tenders seek bids for a skating and curling rink, while Old Home Week visitor plans and local projects proceed.

McCutcheon’s. Dublin Institute visitors featured music, papers, and a Girls' Conference report. Minnie Somerville and Airac Collier won a contest. a pleasant social with lunch followed. Committees announced for Programme, Hooth, School, and other duties.
The Dublin Branch of the Woman's Institute met at Mrs. J. Tuddick's home on May 27 with Miss Cook from Reamsville as speaker on nutrition. Reports, donations, and a June gathering were announced. social events followed including a National Anthem closing. The Dublin Literary Society and Women’s Institute held a picnic June 3, 1920 in Ellett's grave with races and prizes for various ages and groups. Numerous members and neighbors are listed with visits to Toronto, Georgetown, Owen Sound, and other towns. The Everton Women's Institute met with thirteen ladies present, and Rev S. B. Culp announced summer sermons.
The May merit list from Dufferin School lists students across grades with names such as Margaret McClean Grace Flintoff Verna Tonelli and many others. A band concert by Acton Citizens Band at Edgewood Park Eden Mills drew a good crowd and plans for a summer schedule were announced.
