Acton Citizens' Band evacuated their practice quarters in the Town Hall after the town council demanded seven dollars per night for upstairs room rental. Rhoda Wallace of 70 Longfield Road was hospitalized with severe shock after her boat overturned on Fairy Lake Sunday afternoon. Nassagaweya approves 1969 levy with 4.6 mill rate rise
Nassagaweya township council kept the tax rate at 0.6 mill and approved a 1969 levy of 4.6 mills for farm and residential property, up 6 mills from 1953, plus 0.454 mills for commercial needs.
