Soap, Deceit, and a Dream on the Fair Grounds
Billy Young helps Professor Hoefelmeyer sell Kleenzit soap at the county fair. The pair’s success sours Ruth’s trust when she discovers the professor melts rival soap to fake gains. Billy confronts the deception, but the duo reform, planning to resume honest work and pursue college with new backing from Ashley, a major soap manufacturer.
