Street Lights Dark After Storm Damage
A heavy electric storm burned the Street Lighting transformer, causing 145 street lights to go out. Temporary connections are being made at mall corners to restore light while the whole circuit will be rebuilt with multiple lights. Repair is not planned due to an estimated 3500 dollar cost and a new unit from Fort Wayne General Electric with three months delivery.
